This kettle is made by the studio Dilu based in Jingdezhen (check here to learn about Dilu).
The kettle is textured with pin-stripes running down diagonally from the left to right across the body. Made of rough clay blended by Dilu themselves, the kettle is finished with a handmade handle made out of wisteria wood and a multiple ball filter in the spout that ensures a smooth pour and no dripping, making it available for boiling water or tea leaves straightly.
The kettle holds approximately850 ml. As not glazed on the inside , the kettle shall not be washed using detergents, but rather water only. Since the clay resists high temperature well, the kettle is available to use on any stove with open fire or an electric stove.
