Feature: Those wooden teapot supports are composed of a cover and a body which are made of different kinds of wood, providing an enhancement of wabi-sabi esthetics. The cover of each support features the organic texture of the wood and asymmetry shape allowing you to shower a teapot on it. Those wooden supports are big enough to hold a full tea set as shown in the photos. The overall design is simply a good cooperation between nature and human beings.
Dimension:27*18*4.5 cm
Artist: Those wooden trays are handmade by a craftsman, Wu Jianghai from Jingdezhen. With a long-term passion for tea and teaware, Wu quit his marketing job and devoted himself to making wooden tea set accessories. Aimed to incorporate ancient elements into modern tea-brewing, he spent a lot of time on the bunt for antique wood as materials and retaining the organic texture in the finished crafts as much as possible. To a great extent, his crafts heighten the sense of wabi-sabi to a tea ceremony, reflecting his appreciation of nature's force and a quest for a simple life.
