Those white pot supports are handmade by the studio Xiaoyang ( little Sheep) in Jingdezhen.Xiaoyang is run by a young couple who are committed to crafting Fenyin (white slip glaze) potteries by incorporating contemporary art as much as possible .
Each pot support is made with white slip glaze, coloring it matte white with faint cracks overall and feeling contemporary. With deep bowl structure, each pot support allows the tea drinker to shower the teapot sufficiently. But we advise placing the taller teapot in it taking the height of the bowl into account.
As those tea trays are not finished with water-proof glaze appearing rough and delicate texture, we advise not washing them with a brush or other hard cleaning tools. Otherwise, the white glaze will peel off easily. Because of the nature of handmade pieces, each tea tray has a slightly unique appearance. We will send them out at random for each order.
