Those teapots are handmade by an experienced craftsman in Jingdezhen. The texture of the pots is stunning with vertical cracks in the clay giving it the appearance of tree bark. Both teapots also stand out for overhead brass handle with ropes twisted in the middle to prevent the hand from burning, giving an enhancement of esthetics.
There are two pots available from the same batch with the appearances varying slightly different. Teapot A holds 300 ml and B 230ml with a holes ball filter separately. Considering the tea ceremony scale you prefer while using the teapot, please refer to the photos and confirm the size you select.
Please note that as each pot is not glazed on the inside, we suggest the user of the teapot devote it to a kind of tea for better “nourishing”. Therefore the taste of tea will be improved gradually after long-term brewing the same tea in the teapot. For these reasons, it shall not be washed using detergents, but rather water only.
