Set A : a set of three cups (30ml/cup)
Set B: a set of two cups (40ml/cup )
This series of teacups are handmade in Jingdezhen. Made of white ceramic, they are applied with a blended glaze which colors the cups red. The outside is mottled with red on white which is brought about by the different thickness of glaze in the gas kiln, providing each cup with a lovely visual texture, while the inside appears a heavy shade of dripping red running down to a denser red pool at the bottom.
Due to the nature of handmade pieces and glazed used, these teacups have a slightly different appearance. Set A includes three cups appearing glossy on the outside with 40ml each cup. Set B includes two cups appearing matte on the outside with 50ml each cup.
The series is ideal for gongfu tea session where the tea is shared with a few participants. Please refer to the photos and determine your option.
