Artist: The tea scoop is handmade by a craftsman, Wu Jianghai from Jingdezhen. With a long-term passion for tea and teaware, Wu quit the marketing job and devoted himself to making wooden tea set accessories. Aimed to incorporate the ancient elements into the modern tea-brewing, he spent a lot of time on the bunt for antique wood as materials and retaining the organic texture in the finished crafts as much as possible. To a great extent, his crafts heighten the sense of wabi-sabi to a tea ceremony, reflecting his appreciation of nature's force and a quest for a simple life.
