The line of teacups is made by a creative and accomplished team called Bian in Jingdezhen (check here to see more about Bian).
Shaped in form of a sakura flower, each teacup features a lovely gradation of blue from dark to light on the inside, while the exterior surface is glazed in matte dark-brown, providing a sharp visual and textural contrast. Despite no complex surface of glaze or other processing, the teacup will stand out with its lovely shape and colouring from the table.
Each teacup holds 40ml of liquid up to the rim. The rim is extremely thin which prevents the fingers from the heat and the lightweight character makes it pleasing to hold. Regardless of its delicate appearance, the clay used is strong and practical in using without much worry of fragility.
