This gaiwan is born from traditional wood firing, where flying wood ash melts onto the clay surface creating dreamy icy‑ash glaze and spontaneous crackle patterns, making the gaiwan an appearance of the milky way. Misty smoky‑grey ash layers grace the rim and outer wall, blending softly into milky‑white glaze. Fine web‑like crackles spread over both interior and exterior. The lid sits snugly, delivering steady, drip‑free pouring.
