Those shino teacups are handmade by a female potter, Fan based in Jingdezhen, who has committed herself to study of shino glaze for 10 years. Her pottery can be mainly divided into two series ,one is Moss series and the other is Ink series which are distinguished easily from many shino pieces in the market.

Those teacups are from Fan’s ink series.  They are made with shino glaze which colors those cups with a mottled effect of black on the white, giving the impression of ink dripping in the paper. The overall piece offers extreme discreet elegance. Those cups are also stunning with fine cracks throughout the body, adding another layer of esthetics.

The line of teacups approximately holds liquid of 100ml up to the rim individually. The thick wall guarantees the ability to preserve the heat well. Due to the nature of handmade pieces and glazed used, these teacups have slightly different appearances. You will receive any set of two teacup s selected optionally.
