Those tea jars are obviously from the studio Hidden Mtn run by two young artists in Jingdezhen, one of the influential pottery centers in the world. They devote themselves to reforming the teaware in breathtakingly creative ways instead of following the tradition slavishly. Their crafts are admired by the unique embossing developed on their own ,adding another dimension to the way we think of traditional Chinese art .
They feature the unique green glaze flowing from the top to the bottom with a subtle gradation of colors from the light to the dark green, providing the significantly textural and visual contrast. Another point to collect those tea jars is the motif embossed on the lid and body, making those tea jars stand out easily.
There are two motifs available. One is about a mountain, the other is the tide of the sea. please refer to the photos and confirm the exact motif you are interested in. As each lid has a rubber sealing belt attached on the inside, the tea jar will not let you down for the tight air seal. Each tea jar holds 180ml liquid. As a result of handmade nature, these tea jars may vary in capacity a bit.
