The teapot is made by Hu Ke in Jingdezhen, an important pottery center in China. Hu used to be a media worker in his early career. However, with a passion about the nature and countryside life growing gradually, Hu made up his mind to quit the well-developed media work and put his root in Jingdezhen for studying wood firing where he is able to feel the truth of nature  and life. . Hu is aimed to develop a line of mini teapots for a small tea ceremony as a teapot suiting for single-person brewing plays an important role during his daily meditation.

Made of dark clay blended by the potter himself, the teapot embraces a yet refined appearance   , unassuming and balanced. It stands out by the dense olive-green drips with faint cracks throughout running from the top to the bottom , allowing an interplay with the vitrified dark-brown body.

The teapot is able to hold roughly 100ml liquid making it a good option for any scale of the tea session.Multi-holes ball filter strains the tea in the spout which ensures a smooth pour without any drips. As the teapot is being fired over 1300℃ for 3 days and nights in the kiln,  the lid is not as fitting as zisha teapot , but it won't affect on use during the process of tea brewing.

Please note that as the teapot is not glazed on the inside , we suggest the user of the teapot devote it to a kind of tea for better “nourishing”. Therefore the taste of tea will be improved gradually after long-term brewing the same tea in the teapot. For these reasons, it shall not be washed using detergents, but rather water only.
