The square pot support is obviously made by the studio Hidden Mtn run by two young artists in Jingdezhen, one of influential pottery centers in the world. They devote themselves to reforming the teaware in breathtakingly creative ways instead of following the tradition slavishly. Their crafts are admired by the unique embossing developed on their own ,adding another dimension to the way we think of traditional Chinese art .
. It features the waves embosses at the edges of the support with the brilliant interplay between blue,purple and other colors. There are a few holes forming a flower in the center of the pot where the water flows into the hollow interior,allowing you to shower the teapot over it. you can empty the water inside the pot support through a hole at the corner.
