The teacup is made by the soda firing expert, Mupu studio (check here to learn about Mupu).
The teacup features a gentle interplay between dark and light blue with pronounced crackles around the body , appearing vitrified surface resulted from the reaction between soda and clay during the process of firing.The teacup has several facets cut off the wet cup, that godown diagonally from left to right across the cup. With faint concentric circles manifesting the marks of throwing, the inside stands out by a patch of blue at the bottom.
The teacup holds approximately 130ml of liquid making it ideal for intimate tea session without the company of a fair cup if the teapot used is normal size (100ml-150ml). Pinched out delicately, the rim has lovely wave outline, allowing pleasure to hold and preventing the hand from heat.
