The line of teacups are made by a creative and accomplished team called Bian in Jingdezhen, whose potteries feature nature-inspired shape finishing with silver glaze among them. They are devoted to linking pottery with nature like fruit and flower.
Each of those teacups are a type of multiple flower-shaped teacups we introduced from Bian. Shaped in form of sakura blossom or plum flower, each teacup features a lovely gradation of colors from red to pink in the inside, while the exterior surface is glazed in matte dark-brown, providing the sharp visual and textural contrast. Despite of no complex surface of glaze or other processing, the tea cup will stand out with its creative shape and coloring from the table. Another point impressing is the surprisingly soft touch of the surface as with the rubber.
The teacup holds 95ml of liquid. The rim is extreme thin which prevents the fingers from heat and the lightweight character makes it pleasing to hold.Regardless of delicate appearance, the clay used is strong and practical in using without much worry of fragility.
