The zisha tea tray is made by Yu, a free potter based in Jingdezhen (check here to learn more about Yu).
Made of roughy clay, the tea tray is brushed with off-white slip glaze at the upper tray , and reddish clay (a kind of zisha) at the bottom, offering significant textural and visual contrast. The texture throughout the tray gives a wabisabi appearance , providing an aesthetic enhancement. With the simple and clean design, the tray fits most of tea set.
The tray is approximately 14cm in diameter which is quite practical to hold a single teapot or gaiwan. It holds roughly 150ml liquid ,allowing you to shower your teapot 1-2 times.
Dimension: 14*14*2.5cm
