The line of teacups is made by the potter Liu Xinlong from Jingdezhen, the capital of pottery in China. Liu’s works are admired for their spectacular and surprising color as a result of a decade spent in wood firing. He is aimed to discover a wide array of kiln changes that will make pieces come out with pleasing vibrancy or subtlety in unexpected patterns.

Made of refined clay, those teacups appear delicate with a lovely gradation of colors from light orange to white resulted from several days straight of wood firing, offering a comfortable touch. Each teacup is also distinguished with a tall and slender body which helps to trap the aroma of the tea liquid and fits the hand well to a great extent. The interior is dusted with patches of dark spots and making each cup one-of-a-kind.

The line of teacups approximately holds liquid of 90ml up to the rim individually. The rim is pinched out slightly, allowing pleasure to hold and preventing the hand from heat. Due to the one-of-a-kind result of the wood firing, the appearances of those cups vary slightly different. You will receive any cup selected optionally.
