Feature: Made of zisha clay, the teapot feels rough in the hand. It looks tiny and cute for the chunky body and trumpet handle but it can hold 160ml actually. The excellent pouring and pleasure of holding fairly manifest the expert skill of the artist.

Note: As the teapot is not glazed on the inside, we suggest the user of the teapot devote it to a kind of tea for better “nourishing”. As the Zisha helps to retain heat well and facilitate the pleasing compounds released from the tea leaf, the taste of tea will be improved gradually after long-term brewing the same tea in the teapot. Meanwhile patina outside will be created with regular use. For these reasons, it shall not be washed using detergents, but rather water only.

Nice, but bit different

It's a nice looking rough teapot, very unusual. The only thing is it seems bit different than the pictures. Mine is not red tinged, it's very brown, the neck is shorter and the holding hand bit is very small, especially the round top bit looks smaller. I have tiny hands, so I'm OK but still not great to hold, but I can imagine it might be bit of an issue with people who don't have hands of a 10 year old, like me 😂

Only tried it with youngish sheng so far and it's nice, but haven't used it enough to say anything more about flavour changes.
