Feature: made of rough clay , the gaiwan feels grainy in the hands and takes on metallic sheen after 3 days and nights of woodfiring . The rim keeps asymmetric instead of being being trimmed to a perfect circle, enhancing organic texture from the clay itself. The gaiwan also stands out for a range of brown drips starting from the rim and joining a vitrified pool at the bottom inside. providing a significant visual contrast.
