With a swirled shape, the soda-firing faircup is characterised by patterns running down diagonally from left to right across the cup. With reaction between soda and clay in the wood-fired kiln, the glaze comes into being on the surface of unglazed faircup , presenting patches of blue and wine red. The faircup is vitrified with crackles throughout which will deepen with using, offering nice tactile quality. The inside is impressed by speckled effect of wine red dots which enhances the aesthetics prominently.
The fair cup holds roughly 160ml of liquid with a thick wall to allow a good heat retention . With the rim pinched out slightly, the fair cup is good for holding . As the spout is expertly pinched out, the spout certainly guarantees smooth pour.
